Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, Jimmy has been around music his entire life. Countless family and friends played music and would have “ get together’s” on weekends to play. He played drums and guitar for the family band from age 11 to 14. He never really was interested much until he was asked to sing one night at the family deer camp when he was 25. Jimmy was hooked, and some say, found his calling.
Jimmy has been in a number of bands and has played opry’s, bars and nightclubs all over Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. His love for music includes a wide variety with a solid Country background.
Jimmy has released 4 albums that get air play in the US, the UK and Ireland. Man In The Mirror, Already Gone, Don’t Bring The Cowboy Out In Me, and his latest, Downtown Country. The single, Don’t Bring The Cowboy Out In Me, spent 18 weeks on the Christian Country Music chart! It peaked at number 3.
